Dwyer Virtual Community
The Dwyer Virtual Community is a statewide virtual space designed to bring military personnel, veterans, families, and caregivers together through connection, engagement, and shared experiences. Whether you are looking to participate in virtual groups, attend events, discover resources, or connect with others who understand your journey, the Dwyer Virtual Community provides opportunities to stay engaged from anywhere in New York State.
The Dwyer Virtual Community is made possible through a partnership with enliveo, a nationally recognized virtual community platform. Through enliveo's technology and support, participants can access virtual programs, discussions, activities, and community groups in a welcoming and accessible environment.
By combining the strength of New York's Dwyer Programs with innovative virtual engagement tools, the Dwyer Virtual Community helps expand opportunities for connection, reduce isolation, and strengthen support for military personnel, veterans, families, and caregivers throughout the state.

Supporting Connection Across New York State
Many military personnel, veterans, families, and caregivers face barriers to participation due to distance, transportation, health concerns, work schedules, or caregiving responsibilities. The Dwyer Military, Veteran, and Family Community helps reduce those barriers by providing opportunities to engage virtually while remaining connected to local communities and statewide resources.
More Than a Virtual Platform
This community is intended to strengthen relationships, reduce isolation, increase access to information, and encourage ongoing engagement among those who have served and those who support them. Participants can join county-specific groups, statewide discussions, special interest communities, and virtual activities designed to foster connection and well-being.
Safety and Support
While this community is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment or crisis services, participants can access information, resources, and connections to support networks. When concerns are identified, individuals may be encouraged to connect with appropriate local, state, or national resources for additional assistance.
Join the Community
The Enliveo Military, Veteran, and Family Community is free to join and available to military personnel, veterans, families, caregivers, and supporters across New York State.
Together, we can build stronger connections, expand access to resources, and create a more connected military and veteran community.
